Colour Scheme for HGUC Loto

Posted: July 29, 2010 in Gundam

Hi guys..need recommendation for my HGUC Loto colour scheme. I want to paint it with some camouflage, since it was military tank look alike.

Since HGUC Loto is twins, so i need 2 different colour scheme. The pattern won’t be strict to these example. My idea is one unit use stripe pattern and the other one square pattern. Sorry i lost the examples picture between two different pattern i want to apply. Here are some option.

So which one it will be nice for HGUC Loto?

WIP HGUC Loto Twin Set

Dunno when i got excited for joining any gundam plamo competition, but now i’m so excited to build a gundam plamo for WHITEBASE HGUC Gundam Unicorn Challenge @ July 18th 2010 (click for more information). But i realized how high my skill in modelling so i’ll just wanna try it, at least i’ll got many knowledges and friends from the gathering.

I’ll build HGUC Loto Twin Set for the challenge. This kit looks like a military tank, thats why i wanna try some camo pattern. Just OOB building with some detailing added (my first time detailing with pla plate) and change the colour scheme into some camo tone. Unfortunately, i got no airbrush so in painting i’ll just use spray can. No shading and weathering since i never do it so the paint will be in flat scheme. I hope i can finish them in time, speed build also leveling my skill right 🙂

There i go so far, needs 4 hour for 1 kit. The obstacle from this kit is all the parts are very small, you can see how the difference between the gunpla and Mr. Mark Softer (for decaling). And also i do snapfitting and sanding while watching WC 2010, too bad Italy must go home and Japan break out for next round 😀
